I’ve been where you’re at. Like you, I know how it feels to not know your tree past your grandparents or great-grandparents.
I know how hard it can feel to build your family tree. I also know the joy of making new discoveries.
I have nearly 20 years of genealogy experience, beginning with my own quest to find the couple who gave my grandfather up for adoption. I’ve busted through not only that brick wall, but many more, and I’ve now traced some of my lines back to the 1600s.
As a professional genealogist, I’ve assisted clients with everything from identifying their enslaved ancestors to tracing their roots in Mexico to simply identifying a maiden name that lets them continue building back more generations. In my personal research, I have experience with New England and Quebec genealogy.
I have a Master of Library and Information Science and I’m a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society and follow their guidelines and Code of Ethics.
